Great it only took me the whole pregnancy to get Tonga Toast out of my head and now it's back.

I loved it. Want more! (Note to self: Book two breakfastes at Kona's next time.)

I don't remember a side ways splash thingy on Splash. (Hmmm.....Reminder to wear rain poncho on splash next time.) I hate wet underwear!

This is why I love reading trip reports. I love being prepared.

Ok, waiting for more.

Hi Dawn! goodness a girl is gone for a few weeks and it takes her forever to get caught up!! All is so good, your mini trip to Savanah was so nice, love your pic with Paula Deen, your hair looked cute shorter and blonder.

Oh my the Tonga toast looks to die for, I have read so much about it, maybe next time! I still get all emotional when I see Mickey, and the castle and ...i could go on for hours. I guess is the little girl in me

So here I am subbing, hopefully I can stay caught up, can't wait to read more.

How was the comfort factor with the Alice crocs? I just bought me a pair today! (Actually, my mom is in town for a visit and she surprised me with them!)

You girls are so funny telling Erin the drop was coming up when it wasn't. I love it!
the crocs were awesome. i did, however, get a very odd blister on sunday night (our 2nd day) towards the outside back area of my foot near my ankle bone. i hadn't even felt it and then it popped as we were walking to the monorail to leave the park and it hurt so bad i had to take the back of my shoe off. it was weird. i don't know if it was from the crocs though because i didn't even feel it until it popped and the other side was fine.

Thanks for all the great pictures too!
i know.....no coffee!!!!!???? i would NOT be fun to be around without my coffee on four hours of sleep!

i don't know if that's a new thing on splash or not. all i know is i wasn't expecting it and i got it right in the face and all over the right side of my body.

great updates Dawn!

I hadn't thought of taking a picture of the screens with ride pix! What a great idea. I don't ever want to buy them but we have a great time comparing our reactions!

The breakfast looks fantastic! I keep meaning to make it there for the Tonga Toast but haven't yet. And I can't start a morning without coffee - I would have ordered the pot and drank most of it!

I agree Small World - too long!

Love the Main Street pictures. I took a few on our trip but I always seem to be hurrying to something.

Alice crocs - glad they worked well for you. I wore mine on our first trip in September and had a problem with a blister. It was on my left shoe. It was where the different materials ends - you know what I mean? There's that little patch of material along the heel. For some reason on that one particular shoe the spot gave me a blister! Yikes!

We got "splashed" on Splash Mountain at the same spot I think. When another car was going down the hill. I'm not a big fan of water rides for that very reason but my DD loves them!!!

Looking forward to your updates!

those are called my "redneck pictures," meaning that i can't afford to buy the actual print, so i take a picture of the screen. i'm not the only one though....it's apparently common. i did it right in front of the CMs' faces and they never said anything!

i got a blister too, but it was weird. it was on my right foot on the outside near the back and near the bone ankle. and i didn't even notice it was there until it busted! i'm not sure if it was from the crocs though. it wasn't near the material change that you're talking about. so strange! i still love them though and will wear them on my next trip!

thanks for reading!!!

i forgot to mention in the previous installment that we stopped by the christmas store in liberty square on our way to frontierland. i bought a christmas ornament for me and one for my best friend and had them taken to the entrance of the park. such a great service!

anyway, when i last left you we had just finished our lunch at pecos bill's. we decided to let lunch settle for a bit and go check out the county bear jamboree. ray and i didn't do this last time and i don't remember much about it from when i was a kid. it was a cute show, though. i heard erin laugh out loud a few times!

you know how they announce that no flash photography is allowed during the show until the end when all the bears come on the stage? yeah, i heard that too. apparently the lady in front of us didn't. she kept taking flash pics. erin or tara (i can't remember which) said really loudly, "didn't that guy say not to take flash pictures? hmmmmmmm.......i could've sworn i heard him say that." she just kept flashing though.

after that we went to use our fastpasses to BTMR. i love this ride! it's just plain ole fun!

we decided to catch the train over to toontown so that erin could meet mickey. when we got there tara decided to get on the phone with DVC member services while erin and i went through mickey's house and into the judge's tent to meet the mouse himself. i don't think we waited more than 10 minutes or so. here's the pics we got.....he's so cute!

when we came out it had sprinkled a little bit. we found tara under a tree near donald's boat. after a few harsh words with DVC and having to talk with a supervisor, she was able to straighten everything out. we just had to pick up our new keys to the world when we got back to the hotel that night.

next we headed over to tomorrowland so erin and i could use our FPs to space mountain. remember that tara's pregnant so she had to sit this one out.

i just LOVE space mountain! i think the thing i love about it is that you can't see where you're going so your body doesn't know how to react!

i was worried that erin might not be so thrilled about it because of her back. as soon as we slowed down and came into the unloading room, i asked how she was and she said, "i wanna do it again!!!" yay!!!! me too! so we got FPs to use later on.

as we were walking off the ride erin commented on how all she heard the entire time was me giggling behind her.....i tend to do that on rollercoasters!

we met tara and decided to take a ride on the TTA. i had never done this before! i was so nice and relaxing. and i didn't realize it went ALL THE WAY AROUND tomorrowland! how cool! DH and i have to do this next time! here's erin and tara relaxing on the TTA....

after that erin and tara got in the carousel of progress line while i ran to the bathroom. i tried to hurry and by the time i got back they were letting people in and erin and tara were almost at the front of the line. i booked it and crawled under a couple of chains, but i made it!

i've seen the CoP, but not since i was like 15. it was pretty cool! the song was the best part! i do have to comment that it's so funny to me that everything in the last scene is so futuristic, but they're wearing clothes from the early '90's!

the only place we hadn't been so far was adventureland, so we headed that way. it was around 3:20 by this time, so of course we ran into the parade at the hub. we just kind of chilled for awhile and i got some pics.....

we saw a photopass guy in the rose garden and we decided to get in line. here's the pic he took with my camera......

can i ask you guys something? i don't mean to sound rude when i ask this, but do they not have the concept of waiting in line in other countries???? we were waiting there in an obvious line for the photopass guy and this lady who didn't speak english cuts in front of all of us, then asks the photographer if he can take a picture of her family by gesturing and pointing to her camera, to which of course he replies, "you have to get in line." she didn't understand this and he had to point it out to her. i mean, i understand the language barrier, but why do you think we're all standing behind one another pretty much right behind the photographer???? get a clue! it's common sense.

okay.....sorry. rant over.

we waited for the parade crowd to disperse then made our way over to adventureland. i snapped this on the way......

we got to adventureland and the first thing i did was get us FPs to the jungle cruise. i think the wait was like 30 minutes.

we then headed over to pirates and jack sparrow was doing his tutorial outside. we caught the very end of it as he's running away. i didn't get any pics because i was videotaping. that's the bad thing about not having DH there.....he usually does the videotaping so i can take pics!

we got in line for pirates and unfortunately there was a little boy behind us that was REALLY LOUD. the line was relatively long (about 20 minutes i think) and he screamed for most of it..... and of course they were right behind us in our boat! he quieted down during the ride though.

we enjoyed the ride, of course. erin thought the davy jones smoke thing was really cool, but she got mad that we didn't warn her of the drop. she was like, "what if i was adjusting myself in my seat or something and fell out of the boat?????"

after we got off we headed over to use our FPs on the jungle cruise. as usual, our captain was just HILARIOUS! (do you detect the sarcasm in my voice here? ) she did say one thing that made me laugh......something about if you're bored on this ride, go check out the hall of presidents.

after that it was almost time for our dinner ADRs at crystal palace. we had about 30 minutes to kill and the "dream along with mickey" show was about to start, so i suggested that erin watch that while tara and i did some shopping.

we went into that long store to the right (if you're facing the train station) and i got a disney calendar and two mickey ears antenna toppers. i can't remember what tara bought! we went across the street to the watch store b/c i'm looking to buy a new one and i went to the first counter. i asked the guy behind the counter how much the first one that caught my eye was and he said it was $150. um.....nope. when i told him no, he told me, "this counter includes watches from $125 to $900." i said, "which one costs $900???" he started to get it out, but then i stopped him and told him i was just curious.

i made my way over to the "more affordable" watch counter and found one i liked. it was $75, but i wasn't sure i liked it $75 worth. so i passed.

we left and i called erin to see where she was. we made plans to meet her in front of CP and check in for our dinner ressies!

next up......dinner at crystal palace, a mini DIS/peep meet and my first time at spectro!!!!

next installment: http://www.disboards.com/showpost.ph...7&postcount=75

sounds like a fun time!

Rachel says to tell you that your pictures are pretty and her favorite was Ariel with legs because her mommy didn't take her to see the parade. She is starting to Dis early...

I love what Erin says at POTC about the drop..

I don't get it?! Why didn't you buy the $900 watch?!

Just a few other observations....

If there were frozen adult beverages sold at the TTA station, I would stay on that ride all day! I love it! Sidenote: I rode by myself while the kids used some SM FPs and I actually saw them getting in their rockets when I went through SM! That was cool!

Those two little girls in the castle picture look like they're posing for you!

Perhaps if the photopass guy had told the foreign lady to get back in the "queque" she would have gotten the point!

Our Jungle Cruise guide was really funny this time! I was shocked! He recognized DD's birthday by singing to her:

This is your birthday song
It isn't very long.

(Guess you had to be there.)

OK...I'm ready for my close up........

just thought i would share some pics from last weekend since i neglected my TR for these events.

oh, and before you start commenting on anna's outrageous body, just wanted to let you know she's a fitness trainer. she's a good part of the reason i've lost 26 pounds since march!

these are from the bachelorette party.....

i'm the fourth from the left (in case you can't tell)

me and the bachelorette....

i am the queen of the world!!!!!!

these are from the next day at the bridal luncheon....

me, anna (the bride) and melanie (the other girl who helped me put all this together)

here is the blushing bride in all her glory!

and i had to include this one because he's such a cutie.....this is luke, the bride and groom's 3-year-old son. they kinda got ahead of themselves on that one!
