Our Room
Sorry I'm a newbie here and planning my first trip to WDW (since I was a kid). We've looked at all of the resorts and initially crossed Poly off of the list because the rooms seemed too themed for us. We were basing this off of the pictures on the resort website look like some of the other pictures I've seen on this tread.

But when I saw this picture on the Disney parks blog today it made me want to take another look.

So I came here, to the real experts!
Can you offer any guidance on what "type" or classification of room you got/this is?
Is it the same rate as the others?
Is this part of the construction they are doing? (Updating rooms?)

Sorry for all of the questions!

Thank you in advance, and sorry if I posted this in the wrong place... I'm a newbie and still learning!

The rooms at the Poly have been refurbed and now all the rooms look like the picture you posted above. The pics on the Disney website are outdated. Sometimes it takes them way too long time to update things on the website.

Does anyone have any more photos of the newly renovated rooms as the Poly?

I'm considering staying there in September 2015 - when hopefully all/most of the construction will be done?

Would love to see some room pics
