I know what you are talking about when it comes to racial profiling. My friend is of Egyptian descent and he always gets stopped and questioned and searched whenever he crosses the border, simply because he is brown.

The old driveway shuffle. Ours can go out as far as a five minute drive from home so consider yourself lucky that it was pretty much confined around your driveway.

I love that you got text messages. When our flight home was cancelled with NWA we got home to find the message on our machine. Granted, Disney had made the arrangements but it would have been nice if the lady had asked for a cellphone or something for that.

Glad you got to eat at Boatwright's. I can't believe they sent your desserts to your so called resort () for you! We will have to remember to eat there next time. I'm so jealous you have ten days. That's my dream. Seven days just isn't enough!

I'm glad Maddie was feeling better so quickly. I would never wish an illness on a kid at Disney World. I always seem to get sick there though.

October 2011 MNSSHP trip! Day 3 is up! I would add links but it's only 8 pages.

Also planning a Christmas 2013 trip. Although one of my bosses at Target thinks I may need to quit and then get rehired to get the time off. This is gonna be my dream trip though so I'll do whatever it takes.

Sorry, I accidentally hit post before I was finished.

Waldo's reading this?

Hi Waldo!

I would love to see a trip report from your point of view!

Now you're leaving us with a cliffhanger of whether or not Evan gets to ride? How brutal. I have heard rumors of CM's making kids remove their shoes but never a first hand account.

Sorry for not quoting. Is that a problem? It just takes so flippin' long!

Nice update.

Sorry about the bus but like DM said I also was at POR and used the South depot and it always left from there, no going around to the other stops.

I don't know who Don Vito is but that jester clown thing is SCARY!

Oh man....now you got me wanting to know two things:
-Did you all upgrade?
-Did they boot Evan off of TT?

Really? I seem to have NO problem sleeping from 4am - 8am at WDW. It's the 12am - 4am stretch that does me in.

Gee, didn't I just post here this morning?! I can't keep up with you guys! LOL! I can just see you now, the Disney Drill Sargent! Someone's gotta do it! Tell your brother it's not just him. My DH always gets stopped at the bag check and they have to go thru every single pocket on his backpack every time! It happens so much that we now plan extra time for it. He must look like a bald-headed terrorist. Go figure. That's so cool how you ran into Jo & family like that. Did you plan that?

Oh No! Did Evan get to ride TT or not?!

My DH almost always gets "pulled aside" by TSA--and he is just a balding middle aged white guy with a blackberry/laptop in a business suit and a super-platinum frequent flyer card.....
Then, he went hunting in Colorado a couple of years ago and had camo clothes, hunting knife, bow and arrow, and a beard---and never got checked!

OOH JO--put that on a video for me! I want to hear it too! (And BTW--Jo has 2 syllables here!)

OK, the bus thing doesn't bother me as I will have a rental, the only time I may take the bus is to MK, but I am going to MNSSHP, so may even drive to that too.

OK, now something weird happened when reading your update, it just stopped in the middle, SO WHAT HAPPENED WITH EVAN, DID HE RIDE???????
