Everything except the two Surf's Up buildings are standard.

We'll be there this Sunday, 8/30.

Never stayed at Sports before, so it should be an adventure.

Just back from 9 days at Sports last night. We were busy at the parks & eating for free dining most of the time. Our room was in the Homerun Hotel section, which we requested. We arrived about 12:30 pm, had online checkin which had no wait and our room was ready. We transferred over from CBR. We left there by cab at 12:15 and we were in our room with our luggage delivered by bell services at 12:41. The room was 8162 on the 1st floor right next to the pool. I was a little worried that it would be noisy, but it wasn't bad. The pool is supposed to close at midnight and most nights there were still a few people in past 12, but they were quiet. Only on one night there was a group of loud folks...I was about to call the front desk...they left about 1:00 am. The buses were pretty good. There were waits at times, but that is to be expected. We always had our own bus going to the parks. Also, had our own coming back from MK & Epcot. Shared for AK & DHS...and DTD and that was the worst as usual. Food court was good, busy in the morning & at night with people returning from the parks. We enjoyed our stay...no major problems here. Hope everyone has a good stay.

We walked over the football field everyday to get to our room. There were many people playing catch on the field. Also, one boy had his kicking tee and was practicing his punting with his dad. Everyone was well behaved and having lots of fun. Hope you have a great time.

I'm glad to hear these positive reviews of ASSp. We're going Sept 23 for 10 days. I couldn't get at the Pop so I requested Sports, as in the past when we stayed at ASMo I found we were the last to be picked up and mostly there was only standing room (that was in Feb 2000). I hope we'll be the first picked up this time.

hockeymom01 Sports is the first to be picked up so that will not be a problem.

Have fun!!!!

somebody please stop me from changing my mind again!!! I am the most indecisive person in the world. I keep going back and forth between POFQ and Sports. I really can't justify spending the extra money ($813 to be exact). We don't swim so we don't care about having a great pool. We're going in June so it'll be too hot for a dip in the hot tub. There's only two of us so we don't need a big room. My daughter is a teenager and has this idea that Sports is where she can meet kids her own age (although I'll ever let her run around without me!!). For the price difference, I can add on the dining plan.

So.. here are my concerns about Sports.

1. Noise (is it really THAT loud.)
2. Conditio of the rooms (have they been refurbished lately)
3. Bus Service (I know that it's the first stop in the loop but how bad is it really?

1. The noise really isn't that bad. I would say it is probably worse around the main pool at the surf's up.
2. The rooms have all been refurbished-they look great.
3. Sports is the first to pick and first to drop off. I have always found the bus service very adequate.
