Skin Cancer removal tomorrow
I just joined today.
I'm hoping for as many good wishes as possible for my surgical procedure to remove a skin cancer off of my face. I am a bundle of nerves. it could be a very simple procedure or it could turn into something more complicated depending on what they find. Thanks! |

Thanks for your good wishses. It is a basal cell carcinoma, but being that I left it for so long, not sure of how extensive the cutting will be.

Harasw,
You're probably having MOH's, right? I'm a dermatology nurse and we see Basal Cell just about every day. I always say that if a person is going to get cancer, then BCC is the one to get because it is so easily treatable. It's very slow growing and likes to live in the skin... rarely does it travel to other parts of the body like other cancers.
PM me if you have any questions or just want to talk. Good luck and God Bless! Kathy
