Hey, guess what?, there are people in here that like music other than that teeny bop stuff. My favorites are ICP(Insane Clown Posse), Snoop Dogg, Ice Cube, and Rage Against the Machine.

No offense to anyone but I can't stand pop groups. That's just my opinion though. Out of all of the pop groups I respect Hanson and Jessica Simpson the most. Hanson because they actually play instruments (even though I don't like the music) and Jessica Simpson because she's a good role model for her audience (mostly 8-14 year old girls). My favorite bands are Blink 182 (They've been around since 1992... Their old CD's are great!!), Fenix TX, MXPX, Green Day, SR-71, Papa Roach, No Doubt, The Offspring, Bloodhound Gang, The Ataris, NOFX, Bad Religion, and many others.

I like a variety of bands, but I would have to say that my worst are Jessica Simpson, Christina Aguilera, and I really cannot stand Daphne and Celeste! I do admire her attitude very much and I think she's a great role model, but I think Jessica Simpsons' songs are just soooo boring! I like Mel C, Atomic Kitten, I quite like NSync and I like Britney Spears' songs also. I like songs that you can sing along to and I hate dance music that is just the same thing over and over again-what is the point?! Also, I don't really like Eminem at all-he can be so nasty to some famous people and I don't think that this is a good attitude to be shown to kids. [img]/infopop/emoticons/icon_frown.gif[/img]

I agree with Danielle for the most part. I'm more in to rock/punk rather than pop. Is it just me or does it seem to you guys like Christina Aguilera is REALLY unintelligent? If you look at her first video for "Reflection" from Mulan, and then look at "Come On Over" there is such a dramatic difference. It's kinda scary.... But anyway, the only "boy band" I can stand is O-Town from Making the Band, considering they write music, play instruments, etc. I just think there's a lot more to music than cute boys and girls in tight clothing.

I agree, I hate boy bands! I love hardcore heavy metal, rock, rap, and hip-hop. MY favorite bands are KoRn, kid rock, LIMP BIZKIT, Snoop Dogg,ICP,Slipknot and of course NIRVANA.(Well, it WAS) [img]/infopop/emoticons/icon_razz.gif[/img]

Well, I don't have a fav. band, but I like just individual songs, like Kryptonite (it's stuck in my head), Who let the dogs out (yippy-i-oh!), and that other one where it's like it's 11:30 and the club is jumpin' (also stuck in my head! [img]/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif[/img] ) and some others i just can't think of right now. I like some of the boy bands, especially o-town, b/c of what Jill said, but I think what WannaCDisney was asking was who of us does like the boy bands, or solo singers (ricky martin)

i would just like to say that i HATE those boy bands and pop music. music is more than stupid looks its what they sound like. my favorite bands are...Nirvana, Bush, Veruca Salt, A perfect circle, Deftones, Creed, and Papa roach

this is an old post b/c it had one of my posts on it! hehe! Well, my fav. band right now is BNL, and I'm listening to pinch me now. (oh yea, I think that's why Ballet Babe put "Other". She probably just wanted something fun to do on these boards, and wanted to see which people like which bands)
