OK, so i really cant decide whether or not to eat here, is it really worth 49 euros???? We're not that fussed about the characters but it would be nice to eat in the DLH so i'm not sure.

We definitely think it is as the food is much better quality than other places and there is so much choice. Im in the middle of writing another report from our recent trip with loads of piccies

I can't decide between here and CG for our next trip, they are both $£$£, but would be nice to do both if we can.

I'm looking forward to hearing more about this place.... Its a maybe for us..... We aren't really into buffets, but this one looks quite good!

[A Small World]

We ate here for the 2nd time in July for our wedding anniversary. The food was once again absolutely delicious with loads of choice. We were the first to go in and were shown to our table and told about the buffet and were shown the roses that the chefs had been learning how to carve out of apples for the first time.



We had a seat in the big room right in the centre under the mirrored ceiling.



We hadn’t even got our first course before the first character came in – Captain Hook followed soon after by Tigger.
DH and I chose a selection of Stuffed vine leaves, asparagus tips, smoked salmon, parma ham and various other things to start with.



DD had some ham, melon and nachos.
DH then had a plate of seafood while I had some salads including couscous with prawns.
For mains we had a selection of meats and potatoes – the lamb was absolutely delicious – not sure what kind of sauce it was in but it was so tender.



DD had the chicken strips –big pieces of proper chicken breast in breadcrumbs with smiley faces and spaghetti bolognaise.



For dessert I had my 2 favourite desserts – floating islands and cold rice pudding.



DH had a selection of things.



DD had a selection of sweets, cherries, churros, cake and jelly ( a nice mixture of healthy and non healthy fun food)



It was a bit disappointing that there was no chocolate fountain as I thought this was something that was always there but there were so many other things to choose from.
The characters kept coming through the meal and as well as Captain Hook and Tigger we also saw Tweedledum and Tweedledee, Chip and Dale and Pluto.

Again an excellent meal and we would definitely go back here again.

Fantastic review Small World!! The starters and desserts look totally to die for!!!

I was totally sold on it, but Robert didn't seem impressed..... He is an awkward person sometimes!!!

It obviously changes all the time but there were lots of meat choices in different sauces, (when we went at Easter there was quail), one meat which they carve there without a sauce, a fish dish, at least one vegetarian dish (think its been Lasgne both times we've been), pizza, mini burgers in buns, chicken strips, spaghetti bolognaise, potatoes (the mash is delicious), other potatoes, veg ... probably loads more Ive forgotten about
