2006 Christmas Day parade taping
Does anyone know when they filmed the Christmas Day parade at DL last year? Is it usually the same time each year?

I did it 4 times during my trip and I enjoyed each and every one of them

Last year it was done on the Saturday of Veteran's Day Weekend (though the parade didin't start running until 6 days later). The year before it was the Friday before Thanksgiving (same day the parade premieres for the season).

ABC Walt Disney World Christmas Day Parade Taping
Start Date: December 01, 2006 End Date: December 03, 2006 Location: Magic Kingdom & other WDW locations Description: The amazing WDW Christmas Day Parade on ABC isn't broadcast live on Christmas morning. It is actually taped several weeks in advance. Guests who visit Walt Disney World in early December can catch a glimpse of the taping, including celebrity hosts Regis Philbin and Kelly Rippa! In addition, the broadcast will feature Ryan Seacrest, the Doodlebops (from Playhouse Disney), Andrea Bocelli, Bianca Ryan, Miley Cyrus, Aly and AJ, and four of the stars of High School Musical(note: all of these stars will be part of the final show, but will not necessarily be in the parade). If you want to see the parade (and perhaps see yourself on television on Christmas morning) you must arrive at the Magic Kingdom early. It's recommended that you wear festive Christmas attire. Most importantly, avoid clothing with logos or advertising.

I have it on DVD! (Made it with my DVR and DVD recorder..) The DL part was actually the Parade of Dreams not the Christmas parade, unless they showed 2 and I didn't pay attention.
