Changing from package to room only.. lose deposit/insurance?
We're currently booked for free dining at Ft. Wilderness Cabins in Sept.
We've done many trips to Disney, but never for free dining, we've always had AP's and done room only.. We're going to be buying a new RV (selling the old one), and I"m thinking it'll kill us to leave our new "toy" at home.... so we're probably going to switch to a campsite instead. I know we'll lose the free dining. We're fine with that. We've booked thru a TA, on the free dining package w/insurance. Can that be switched to a room only and purchase our AP's again without having to cancel and thus losing our insurance? And what about the deposit we've paid? The campsites only require 1 nights deposit.. will the entire amount be transferred over or are we gonna lose it (after the insurance is cancelled and deducted?) Am I being clear as mud? Help! |

You can't have insurance on room only so you will lose that money.

They will refund whatever you have paid, except for the insurance. Then they will do a new reservation, collect the money for the 1 nights stay and APs and then you will be all set!
Have fun with your new toy!
