last minute hotel

What is the advise for last minute hotels? Our family decided on the fly extend our spring break road trip to 2 nights at Disney instead of staying in northern California...help!!! :-)

I just went through this for this coming week. Lots are booked or way expensive. I ended up using Last Minute Travel club and got a reservation at the Castle Inn and a suites. I haven't stayed there before but it is walking distance. The Fairfield and Carousel had rooms but they were around $200 a night. Good luck! (Btw, search for discount codes.. I used one and Orbitz has one right now as well.

How many people do you need a room for ? Check Last Minute Travel Club and Orbitz are my personal favorites.

For our budget motel we stay at Super 8 Anaheim on Katella. Free parking/wifi/basic continental breakfast/clean recently renovated right next to Gardenwalk.

We also enjoy Hotel Indigo on Katella which is right next door to the Super 8.
Recently renovated Holiday Inn express. Very nice clean rooms/some fireworks view rooms too.

Both can be walked in about 10-15 minutes.

For other close but driveable options check Knott's Berry Farm area too.

I would also check getawaytoday.com. Last year we had to make a last minute booking & used GAT & got a pretty decent deal. Ive used them many times before.

Be careful though with ANY last minute reservation - if you have 4 or 5 people you may want to try for TWO rooms in case all they have are single bed rooms. Not all sites guarantee bed types/configuration just something to be aware of

Try the Anaheim Plaza Hotel. Older property with a kind of funky cool style. Large rooms, huge pool, onsite restaurant but definitely not fancy. Across the street from DL, on Harbor, and an easy walk. Rooms for this weekend are running $89. I've stayed there and while it's not exactly luxurious, it was clean and a good price for what you get.
