Santa Barbara Hotel Recommendation?
Can anyone please recommend a family friendly hotel in the Santa Barbara area? A suite would be ideal, but a large room would be OK, too.
Thanks! |

We had a huge corner room, facing the city, at the Sanata Barbara Inn back in 2003 and it had a seperate dressing area with sink before the actually bathroom! Not sure if it can be requested though.

We stayed at this hotel a few years ago when youngest DD was touring UCSB. http://www.pacificasuites.com Here is some info from their website: As an all-suite hotel, Pacifica Suites focuses on the individual comfort of each guest. Our attentive staff is available 24 hours a day to ensure you have the best possible stay. This Santa Barbara hotel is nestled in a historic garden setting, with wonderful amenities. We offer a complimentary fresh breakfast, served daily and cooked to order for each guest. We also have casual café dining and a patio with a charming view of the gardens. Winding pathways connect the main lobby and fireside rooms, the breakfast café, pool, spa, guest accommodations and the conference rooms of the Sexton House. The uniquely charming Fireside Room, adjacent to the main lobby, is available for meetings and social gatherings, in addition to the conference rooms of the meticulously restored Sexton House. Pacifica Suites’ evening wine reception is a delicious distraction for the epicurean traveler. We feature wines from Firestone Winery, the first family-estate winery in Santa Barbara County. We also have free parking for all guests. Limited pet-friendly rooms are available. Please contact the hotel directly for more information. Pacifica Suites and Spectrum Gym are happy to provide $5 gym passes for guests of the hotel. You can obtain passes at the front desk and the cost will simply be added to your room bill.

Thanks! I saw this one when I was hunting on-line, but was hesitant to do anything since it wasn't part of a chain I'd heard of. With your recommendation, we'll definitely look further into it.
