Do People Still Boo Bush?

The last time I was in WDW, last summer, we saw the Hall of Presidents and when Bush started talking, people booed him. Has anyone else witnessed this and has anyone been there recently when the audience has? I'm just curious...

Aww I don't like that. I'm not political at all, I don't really follow the news and I have no idea what's going on overseas but I am so patriotic otherwise! Although I don't know enough about GWB to like or dislike him, it's Disney people! Have a little respect!

No one booed Bush nor any other president during the show we saw earlier this year, thank goodness.

I'm not saying it's right or wrong either way - I don't want to start a political debate! I was just wondering if it still occurs in general. I have a feeling I better put my flame retardent suit on though...

I have never heard booing. I did once hear a "gentleman" behind me snort when a President was announced, but never heard booing.

I wonder sometimes if the rumors of the booing are even true. But, if you heard it then they must be.

I think the booing occasions are rare.

Well good to hear it hasn't been a huge deal there. I'm not going to pass my judgment on him... But when I go to WDW, I want to ESCAPE politics and the real world, I don't want to be reminded of it when I go to a show/ride.

Yes, I've heard people Boo Bush. When we saw it in 2002 no one booed him. Then we skipped this attraction until 2006 and a lot of people booed.

I've never heard booing for any president in the Hall of Presidents.
I was so surprised because I know how many people dislike Bush. But, I'm glad there was no disrespect shown.

we went to the show a couple months ago. When Clinton was introduced I heard some snickers. When Bush was announced I heard a few yeas, and some clapping, myself included. But no boos for him or anyone else for that matter.

Blessings,
Winnie

When I was there with my friend and her mom 20 years back, my friend's mom booed JFK quite loudly. She escaped Cuba in 1966. Completely caught me off guard. I've avoided the Hall ever since.

I didn't hear any booing for President Bush. I also didn't hear any for President Clinton.

I'm a respect the office not the man type of guy.

Hmmm ... no booing in Feb 2006. We didn't make it back to the Hall of Presidents in Nov 2006. I'm glad there was no booing ... it would have made me feel uncomfortable. I really enjoyed the show and ALL the presidents whether I voted for them or not (or agreed with them or not!!)

I've never heard any booing at the Hall of Presidents, thank goodness! I hope it stays that way when we go back in December!
