SAB hours

When there are no lifeguards on duty at SAB, can you still swim in it, or is it completely closed off? At other resorts, the main pool is still available to swim in even though there are no lifeguards on duty, is this the case at SAB as well?

It is closed and roped off. No swimming or even sitting in the pool area. It seemed to close early also.
