Terror on Church Street was closed but has actually re-opened several months ago. I have not been, but have heard from several people that it is quite intense and very well done!
I have been to Skull Kingdom and it is quite enjoyable. The experience takes 15-20 minutes. The haunted house is full of special effects and live actors. It is very intense, the actors attack from the front, sides, and behind you. Just don't let your guard down. Go to http://www.skullkingdom.com to get a discount coupon. Both are similar in their style but SK has more big set-piece scares in store and a few more special effects. They are both pretty scarey, and I wouldn't recommend them for kids!
