I would also say to list your attractions in order from most-important to least important and hit those first thing in the morning. This way you are certain to get in what you want to do and in conclusion just relax. Hey you're at Disney and what could be better than that!

Our travel times are are limited to mid July to mid August so we get the heat and the crowds and we always have a great time. The 2 most important things we follow is to get to the parks early, and go back to the hotel for some kind of break in the afternoon.

Do long rides/shows later in the day as while you're watching all other lines are getting longer ie Bears Jamboree

Keep a water bottle with you at all times - and use it. When the lines are longer, it's tempting to not "waste" the time standing in line "just to get a drink." When you are dehydrated, you get tired very quickly. The restroom lines move quickly...

Hand held Yahtzee game saved the day. We passed it around as we played. Lots of people said they wished they had thought of that.

Easter @ CSR ONE WEEK and counting![/QUOTE]

I loved your whole quote, but we are going Easter Sunday though the following Saturday in 08 and I was just wondering how it was. I know it was crowded but was it manageable and did you use TGM or some other plan and did it help? Thanks so much and I hope you had a great vacation!

Most people head straight up Main Street or linger for photos and autographs with the characters. Try this approach;

Arrive at opening. When the gates open, catch the train to Frontierland, which lets you off right at POTC, and tada! no one is in line (last year the CM gave us a trading pin and told us it was for being the first rider of the day! ) High tail it over to either BTMR or Splash Mtn or Haunted Mansion and once again, barely any one in line!(mind you we were NOT running or "commando" touring, just walking at our pace). Check out some of the minor attractions, snap some photos and head to Fantasyland. This is usually where you run into the first crowds of the day (mostly families with little ones). Keep going through the Castle into Tomorrowland and fast pass Space Mtn. Now it's around lunch. Eat, relax and take in the scenery! Most of the rides are done and you beat the crowd! Now check out the lines on the rides you missed or do what we do... head back to the resort for a dip in the pool!

Easter @ CSR ONE WEEK and counting!
Ok, this is the one I was trying to quote and messed up! How was the Easter week trip? We are also staying at CSR the week following Easter next year!!

I'd recommend going to the park the day after they have extra magic hours. We always go President's Week and this seems to help a lot. In other words if MK has extra hours on Monday...go there Tuesday.

Yeah...it's at www[DOT]touring plans[DOT]com (remove the space); it'll cost you $7.95 but it's worth it! They've got TONS of zagging maps for almost every different scenario. I signed up AND I'm signed up with TourGuideMiKE; I prefer the touring plans maps. JMHO...HTH

Hi,
I've used Tourguide Mike a few times, and just recently signed up for Touring plans website. I have to say that I prefer the Touring plan website more. It's definitely more user friendly. TGM does have some great info though.

I totally agree! I like Mike's green, yellow, red days with the explanations but I think his touring plans suck compared the Unofficial Guides. I know that's kind of harsh but I was really expecting more from Mike in that regard. All in all, they're both really valuable and contain tons of knowledge. I've also encountered "Stephen's Cool Stuff" through the forums at TGM; they're super helpful and have some neat little things that you can aren't too well known. Here's the link: http://www.tourguidemike.com/stephenscoolstuff/menu.asp

You have to be a TGM member to get to it; sometimes I have problems getting to it even after I've signed in but keep trying!

I've gone in early-mid May for the past 3 years, & am going again next month.

I don't think it will be too bad crowd-wise.
