Went into labor about 11pm at home. Stayed at home until about 5am, and then DH drove me to the midwife office, an hour away.

Had DS at 6:30am.

He is my one and only child.

DD17 was born 11 days late.
I was scheduled to be induced at 7:00 a.m. the next morning and went to bed with her having not even dropped yet.

I woke up (from what we now assume was a contraction) with a back ache around 12:30 a.m. She had dropped.

5 contractions later, I screamed for DH while standing in the bathroom door, my water didn't break until her touched her--he literally slid across the floor on his knees and caught her as she fell.

The call to 911 began at 2:06 so they put 2:04 on her birth certificate (so that is about an hour and a half).

DS15, I was induced. 1 hour and 8 minutes after they started the pictocin he was born.

So, two children, and less than 3 hours in labor--I don't think I am normal

1-water broke and then induction 12 hours later. Baby born 17.5 hours after water broke
2-induction- 16.5-17.5 hours
3-unaugmented start to finish 6.5 hours (dilated to 2cm at 38 weeks. Labor commenced on due date 2 weeks later.)
4-version followed by immediate induction ~12 hours (but that includes prep for and the actual version)

My first one took a while, I was in labor for 2 days and 12 hours

Second one was 12 hours, he refused to come down, and then got induced and then he came real quick.

My first one was 6 hours and only 15 min. of pushing. My second on was 24 hours with an hour of pushing, and she was a smaller baby! I really thought my second one would go faster, but that wasn't the case for me. I was really upset about it at the time, but now I am over it.

4 kids
longest labor approx 4.5 hrs from slight discomfort and then water breaking to delivery
shortest labor approx 1.5 hrs from pitocin induction to delivery

Easy deliveries for me, but pregnancies were miserable! I had morning sickness (more like all day and night sickness) that lasted pretty much the entire time I was pregnant. Ugh!

1st started wee hours of the morning, went to the hospital around 6-7 am, had DS at 1:20pm. Not too long pushing, I'd say 1/2 or less.

2cnd, wee hours of the morning again, went to the hospital around 6-7 again, they accidentally broke my water checking to see how far along I was and had DS at 8:00 am. Pushed 3 times. Not a fan of breaking the water! Made it go SO fast and intense!

Both births were good, 1st one we watched Family Feud and played during contractions. Second was too fast to be playing nay games! LOL!

Child #1--induced due to pre-eclampsia. I was in labor about 22 hours, and pushed for 3, but he couldn't get out so I had a C section
Child #2--planned C section
Child #3--went into labor naturally, was in labor 25 hours but never dilated more than 1, so I requested a C section
Child #4--planned C section

Water broke on Saturday morning, dilated to 5 cm by Sunday morning, hard labor by Sunday afternoon, went through 2 complete epidurals and finally had emergency C-section early Monday morning because my son's heartbeat crashed and he was in distress. At that point, I was begging for a C-section and to be hit over the head with a baseball bat to just knock me out
