The one bathroom has a tub with shower but no separate shower stall and the other bathroom has a shower stall but no tub.

Thank you for taking the time to post those pictures. That room looks awesome and I'm really looking forward to staying there in July.

Some people in the past, including me at times, have complained about how rude some can be on these boards. I don't think a lot us here on the DIS ever take enough time to thank the members like you, Damo who can be found all over this board. By taking the time to answer questions and post those pictures. It gives all us folks who never been there, a chance to see the resort from a real world perspective. I have found that personal pictures can be different from what some hotels offer on their website and you don't get the true flavor of that hotel.

A couple years ago I wouldn't have gave Universal too much thought on going there. By reading all this info and seeing the resorts, I feel pretty comfortable about taking a few days away from seeing the mouse and trying something different. This may be the start of a new tradition for my family when coming to Orlando and doing a split stay between the Mouse and Universal.

Thank you! Thank you! Your pictures are great, thanks for taking the time and sharing. We always get a deluxe villa with a patio and have always wondered what the suites were like...thanks to you I know what the suites are like and the one with the covered balcony.....OMG!!!!!!

Staying at HRH this summer with a 2bdr King suite upgrade, I can't imagine HRH will be anything like PBH and what you experienced!

Thanks for the pictures, doesn't get much better than that.

Room size at the PBH is larger than the HRH. However, the HRH makes up for it with the close walk to the parks and the "hip" pool. I prefer the atmosphere and room size of the PBH.

Great pics Damo! Makes me nostalgic for the Portofino.

It did confirm that the fridges are a bit larger in the West Wing Villas than the one we had in the Villa Suite in November. I thought that was what I remembered, but wasn't sure.

We are headed to the Loews Santa Monica in 3 weeks, using our Platinum status for the first time someplace other than Universal. Being spoiled by the Villa Suites, I hope we are as lucky as you were with our suite upgrade. As Macraven would say - we need some mummy dust.

Sounds like you had a great vacation! Welcome back, and...

You should email them and ask if you can have to top floor suite overlooking the ocean. It never hurts to ask. The girl I dealt with was so nice.
