I'm sorry I don't know what unit #s we stayed in, but we always requested to be close to the WC and in an upstairs unit. (The buildings are two floors and we found this quieter) There are some units around the Sabal Palms pool and we wanted to avoid that area due to possible noise from the pool. The Sabal Palms area is relatively small, and all of the units seemed to be convenient with a nice view of the golf course. BTW, there is a free pizza night at either the Imperial Palms or Royal Palms that you can attend (which is designed to sell timeshares but you don't have to sit through any pitch), and as I remember we also received a complementary frozen drink poolside. Enjoy your trip!

We stayed at the Imperial Palms in 2006, right next door. The bad news, you'll need a shuttle to get to the World resort and this is a pain. We're used to walking to the pool. The shuttle hits the three locations before heading to the world. I didn't get a real good look at sabal, we just stopped there on the way to the world. Lots of construction going on which you'll pass by.

You actually won't need the shuttle from Sabal Palms, and that is why we stayed there. It was a relatively short walk to the WC from Sabal Palms. You do need to take the shuttle to Imperial Palms if you visit there, though.

Then i wonder why the shuttle stopped there??? The sabal guests would get on and off so it wasn't because they were visiting someone at Imperial/Royal. Maybe they don't want the sabal quests walking to the world because of the construction?

I am not sure why they would take the shuttle, unless they were unaware of how to walk there? It is alot shorter distance to walk than drive from Sabal. We stayed at Sabal twice and walked to the WC pool with small children with no problem.
