Can kids get hot dogs or grilled cheese at dinner?

In looking at the kids menus for the dining rooms, it looks like grilled cheese & hot dogs are not on the menu. However, do they let you order these? I know they have lots of kids selections but I have a DS3 who is very underweight & very picky. He takes Pediasure for his nutritional needs but we supplement that with the few foods that he will eat. Also, if they offer pasta can you get it without the sauce? I know we could feed him at the buffets before dinner but then he'd be so bored while we eat.

Thanks for your help!

There are hot dogs and cheese sandwiches at the Pluto's place by the pool.. Not sure about the dining room. But we did get mac and cheese and pasta without sauce in the dining room... the dining staff really does cater to kids..

They'll pretty much bend over backward to get him what will tempt him to eat. Or you either, for that matter. Last cruise I had an asthma attack and Nicholetta was able to conjure up a bowl of chicken noodle soup for me.

Next Sept will be the first time we travel with little ones so it will be new to us. We will be with twin 2 year old grandkids. I never thought about the food aspect other than they have kids menus. Hmmmm.

We found out after the fact that our server had gone to Pluto's to get a hamburger for DD one night when it wasn't on the menu.

If an item is on the menu for any of the restaurants, it is fairly easy for them to get it. A run to deck 9 was certainly more than I expected, but they did it without telling me. They found out that DD liked broccoli, and every night she had a side of broccoli whether she ordered it or not.

Just let your server know

If you ask you shall receive! Just tell the server what your children will eat and they will get it. OR the head server can make whatever you want happen!!!! My son loves plain cheese cake. The head server arranged for him to have it for dessert whenever he wanted it. I had escargot 3 nights in a row just because I asked!

At lunch at Parrot Cay one day, the waiter went to Pluto's to get my DD chicken strips. I thought that was really nice as he wasn't our server and since it was just lunch, he wasn't working for a tip.

Just a note - you know the tips you pay at the end of the cruise? They cover lunch, too! And breakfast. And all the other times servers serve you in the diningrooms and fast food locations.
