What golden years are you talking about? The 20's, 30's, 40's or the 50's? I like Cary Grant and Katherine Hepburn, one they did together was "Bringing up Baby", also Hepburn and Spencer Tracy in "Desk Set". Don't have a real favorite, there are way to many of them.

I don't know about being attractive??? but I do have many favorite old time stars:
Danny Kaye
Bing Crosby
Cary Grant
Gene Kelley
Donald O'Connor
Judy Garland (OK, she was rather cute)
Katherine Hepburn
Debbie Reynolds (yeah, she was pretty)

As for favorite old movies, pretty much any movie that had any of these stars in them. And when you got two or three of these stars together - even better!!!

Sorry no specific enough lol! I'm just talking in general i guess from the 30's to the end of the 60's. Lots of great movies there. I love Audrey Hepburn, and Breafast at Tiffany's/Roman Holiday. Gregory Peck is probably my fav babe of the times i must admit .

I am a big fan of Joan Crawford and Bette Davis. James Dean is also another favorite. Favorite classic films include:

Mildred Pierce
All About Eve
Roman Holiday
Now Voyager
Meet Me in St. Louis
Footlight Parade

Whatever Happened to Baby Jane---OK, 1960s are not quite golden years, but I still love this film! It's the one film I would take to a desert island.

I just bought the deluxe version of South Pacific. I'm looking forward to watching it this weekend.

For me it was my aunt who drew me to old black and white films--I loved watching her in Destry rides again and Blue Angel and many others! I think it was so cool that she got to work with and DATE many screen greats(Jimmy Stewart for one) and gave John Wayne his start!!

Katherine Hepburn, I want to be just like her when I grow up.

Howard Keel was an incredibly handsome man. And what a voice

I love any musical

Another Audrey Hepburn here. DW and I just finished watching My Fair Lady for the 12th time. I must have seen Breakfast at Tiaffany's 100 times. As far as I am concerned that has the best ending of any movie I have ever seen.

Marilyn Monroe, Audrey Hepburn, Cary Grant, and Humphrey Bogart.

And I think my all time favorite "classic" would be a tie between Some Like It Hot and Breakfast At Tiffany's. Also love Casablanca.

I loved Burt Lancaster, especially in 'Sorry, Wrong Number' and 'The Birdman of Alcatraz'. Spencer Tracey in 'Father of the Bride', 'The Old Man and the Sea' and 'The Mountain'. Bette Davis in 'All About Eve' and 'Whatever Happened to Baby Jane'. Elizabeth Taylor in 'Cat On a Hot Tin Roof' and 'A Place in the Sun'. Myrna Loy in 'Cheaper by the Dozen' and 'The Best Years of Our Lives'. Jimmy Stewert in 'It's A Wonderful Life', the best classic movie, ever.
