Just returned from CSR 10/7
Just got in early this morning from our 6-night stay at CSR. We are dvc owners, and had our concerns about staying in a moderate with all 5 of us in one room, but ds 2 cooperated wonderfully. We got our room location request---9B, which was extremely convenient. Thought the casitas were prettiest of all architecture by far, but weren't necessarily as convenient as cabanas. Plus, one evening when ds 12 and I took a late-night stroll around the grounds, I noticed some conventioneers gathering outside someone's room to continue their late evening, and I was thrilled to be staying in our quiet section of the resort!!
We enjoyed Pepper Market, and were on the dining plan, so we enjoyed all the options for just a counter service credit. However, if we were actually paying oop for the food, I think I would have found it rather pricey for cs. All in all, we thought our package was a wonderful value. I found all the CMs (in the lobby) to be very pleasant and willing to help when there was a problem. The manager at check-in was excellent. Sometimes the Pepper Market workers seemed like they could have explained how Pepper Market works a little better, but they were alright. I'm just glad I'd read up on the process on this board or we would still be at our table waiting to order from the menu When we were checking in, the computer system crashed, which created a very long check-in line, but things like that can't be helped. The only slow bus service was to/from Typhoon Lagoon. And boy was it slow!!! Otherwise, we had an awesome stay there. Great busses to every other destination, good housekeeping, quiet neighbors (or thick walls!), beautiful landscaping, good pool and playground area. I'd definitely recommend staying there. I'd be happy to answer any questions.

I was there when you were. We were in Casitas bldg 5. Long walks, but nice place. Did you notice that the pool fountain wasn't working for a few days? It came on our second to last day.

Glad you had a good time. I'll be checking in to CSR on Thursday this week. Are they still working on the temple at the Dig Site pool?

We returned from CSR on 9/30 and I agree with your post 100%. I felt the same way you did about the busses, pepper market, and the Casitas. We were in Cabanas 8a a little further away but not to bad.

Casitas 5 is close to the bus stop #2. It's the 1st stop at the place so you always get a seat. By the time you get to the main stop, the bus gets filled up

Thanks for the info - CBR was really spread out and we didn't mind that, so I am sure we won't mind walking around CSR.
