Our 1st but not our last - Day 7
well feeling a bit sad this morning , we are checking out of the RPR , i really loved my stay here[ but i can look forward to next year] it was a really relaxing week , and with the FOTL you where not rushing trying to get everything in that you wanted to do, makes the trip report a bit boring but at least i was well rested. So checked out , and a nice surprise ,i did not get charged for parking. so it was of to the car and the start of
arrived at POFQ, not as big as RPR and first impressions looked very nice, had to wait about 30 minutes on the room as it was not ready. eventually got into the room which was nice and everything was close to the room because of the size of the resort which was nice Got the clothes unpacked and Dw started getting ready as we had ADR at Whispering Canyon , and i too DD to the restaurant to get ourselves 3 refillable mugs,[which must be the best $36 i spent] saved me quite a bit of money over the 2 weeks. we had a walk rpund the resort , the pool while not as good IMHO as RPR was really nice, and the grounds where immaculate, there was quite a bit of painting going on and they where still painting when we left. So we headed up to Whispering Canyon for a meal, i had the pork chops which where nice DD had PJ sandwich but didnt like it,they got her something else and did not charge us even though it was DD fault, which was nice of them, cannot remember what else we had but the meal was quite good, they had the usual horse race round the restaurant, and i even got to give out the certificates.DW and DD deciding what they want. i had considered upgrading to this resort but decided to stay where we where , which i am glad as DW did not like the WL, [I did but then as we men know it does not matter what we like]. dinner over we head back to POFQ, me and DD take the boat to DD and have a stroll around the shops, we where looking for Cinderella shoes but the ones she tried on where hurting her so didi not buy any, and we headed back to the resort. We went down and filled |
