You have to purchase Bahamas stamps from the post office there, you have to use cash for these in order to post them from CC.

Of course, you could buy your stamp at home, mail it when you got home and still get it weeks before it makes it there from the Bahamas.

Can you purchase both the post cards AND stamps, and drop off at Guest Services for mailing????? Would your post card get the Castaway Cay postmark if you did this?

I thought I read on the Forum that the postcards left at Castaway Cay simply get transferred over to the Disney ship and Guest Services mails when they accumulate about a thousand postcards.

I hope I wasn't dreaming this......but it wouldn't be the first time.

We bought our Bahamian stamp from Guest Services and the postcard on CC. They have free post cards in your stateroom, but we wanted one that was CC specific. We used the one in the room to mail from Port Canaveral since we were mailing a post card from every port.

I don't remember how much the stamp was. I want to say it was a little over $1.

If you went to Nassau before CC, could you buy the stamp there? I ask because we mail them home as well and I didn't think about this in the past, but when I bought stamps in Nassau and mailed those post cards home, could I have gone ahead and bought an extra 2 for mailing post cards at CC?
