Well, I ordered my 40th birthday cake for CRT in Nov 2005 and they asked for a CC so I guess it really depends on the CM you get.

Thanks for all the responses on the stand-up princess cake. When I call CRT I'll ask them about it. I think any princess themed cake she would love so if they don't do it there I'll do something else. I'm sure anything would be just fine! Thanks again !

Lion King Cake

DH, DS and I are going to WDW first week in Sept. We will be staying at AKL It's our 10th Anniv. We will be going to see the Lion King on Broadway the night before we leave. I want to order a cake to be sent to our room on day 1. I would like a Lion King cake. Maybe Simba & Nala. Anyone have any pictures of one. When will they know when to deliver the cake? Any other suggestions

Note all resorts have their own bakeries (mostly the deluxes and home away from homes do) and no, there are no bakeries (except the one on the Boardwalk) that you can walk up to and buy a cake from. You would need to pre-order the cake and have it delivered somewhere (your room or a restaurant in that resort).

I noticed that Bistro De Paris not on your list. Does this mean they do not make specialized celebration cakes there?

I called the cake hotline selected AKL and then Jiko/Boma, and the lady who answered said they can deliver to your room too. All I inquired about was round white cakes, so I do not know about what kind they might have in terms of simba.

She told me to call 1-2 days before I want the cake delivered.

That list is only based on posts by fellow DISers so that means no one has posted any info/experiences with ordering a cake at the Bistro de Paris.

You'll have to call the hot line to see what they can do.

Question Zebra Cakes

I think I'd like to have my son's birthday party at Boma in the evening and I'm looking at getting him one of those zebra cakes. If anyone has ordered one of these lately, please help me out.
Can you tell me what choices you had, can an inscription be placed on it, what's the cost, (was it $50 or $30)and do you think there would be a problem with having it delivered to our table?

Has anyone had a cake with an Alice in Wonderland character on it? I would love to see a pic!

Also, anyone know the price of the Mickey head cake at Boardwalk Bakery?
Thanks!

Yay!

My Mom ordered my birthday cake for WCC for June 30th!

It's white cake with white buttercream filling and whipped cream frosting!

Yumm!

I'll post a photo when I return - if I get my post count up!

I ordered the slipper dessert for our dinner at 1900 PF. Then, I ordered a cake from the Boardwalk Bakery to be delivered to our room at BWI. It is a chocolate cake with white chocolate mousse filling and white buttercream. The theme of the cake is Tink. I'll post pics when I return.
