Best preferred room at Pop Century - specific rooms?

Hello

i was wondering if anyone could help me with specific room numbers at the PC

is there a floor plan anywhere that shows rooms numbers

we have paid for preferred and my ideal would be a room in the 60s buildings as close to the foodcourts as possible but not on the poolside.

anyone got any specific room numbers to suggest?

can you walk right through the centre of the T shape? or do you have to walk around the whole thing to get to the other side?

what I mean is that each building is a T shape and if you stay in a room facing the lake do you have to walk all the way around the T shape to get to the classic hall or can you walk through the middle of the building where the ice machines are?

You can walk through the center of the T shape.
It's where the elevators, Ice machines and pop machines are.

We stayed on the back side of the 70's building #6 that faces the lake and walked through daily behind the Mickey phone.

If you request a specific room number (or even several specific room numbers) and each one you requested is already occupied, what do you do then?
Instead, request what you'd like. In your case, "60s close to Everything Pop but facing away from the pool". Keep in mind too that SOME rooms in the 50s and 70s are now also preferred; these may face a pool or the Goofy water jets, and while you can request anything, all Disney is obligated to provide is a room that's designated Preferred.
There is a resort map on page one of the "The Groovy New Pop Century FAQ Thread" thread, and there's a building layout map on page two of that same thread.

I love these kinds of room maps also. For more info on them, check out a thread I just started:

I'm following the unofficial guide advice... I plan to list my requests in order of priority and then 'suggest' a range of rooms that might fit the bill. Hey, it can't hurt.
