Lightbulb Room Question 2614???

We are first time cruiser & we just booked our 3 day cruise on the Wonder in Feb 08 and we were told we would be in stateroom 2614. I checked the Sateroom reports and saw that someone stayed on the Magic in 2614 and said it was very nosiy because it was located under the kitchen. In the morning they heard lots of banging when they were prepairing breakfast. The Wonder & Magic appear to be set up pretty identical, so if you were me would you be trying to change your room???? Has anyone stayed in or close to this stateroom??

We were in 2614 on the Wonder and we loved the location. In fact we booked 2618 for our 7 night night cruise in December. We did hear some noise periodically and there was some vibration but it was very minor and it did not disturb any of us.

Deck 2 Aft was particulary convenient to the restaurants and the elevators.

No way! i was in 2618 for my 7 day on the magic june 10th. we absolutely loved it. no noise really. we did hear some elevator noise but didnt bother us much. we looked at it like this--so theres some noise. but we do get the elevator right there. now that was handy.

We were also in 2614 on the Wonder. It was a wonderful location and not noisy at all.

I say keep it, you will not be dissappointed. Have a magical time!

Thanks Becka I feel so much better now! I have really been debating on trying to switch. I was worried that the noises from the kitchen would wake up the kids early in the morning!

We are scheduled for room 2614 in June for Alaska and I can't wait!

Can anyone tell me where the lifeboat muster location is for this room?

When we sailed the Disney Dream our muster station was in the butterfly themed nightclub and the alarm combined with the sensory crazy room were too much for my daughter who is on the autism spectrum. They sent us back to our room before they even finished ringing the alarm because she was so overwhelmed. I am hoping this one is in a calmer place because everything else was wonderful!!

I think the 2nd deck porthole rooms near the aft elevator are the best deal on the entire ship!!!! Convenient to everything, (relatively) reasonable price, and we've never ever thought there was bothersome noise. Love walking up to the 3rd deck where the center of life seems to be. Love being right at the elevators to the topside buffet.

We love them!
