5 Year Anniversary

My DH and I will be in DW for our 5 year anniversary and I want to surprise him with a REALLY nice dinner at a steak house. Can anyone recommend a good & romantic steakhouse on DW property? Is there anything else we should do that would be romantic? We are planning on a carraige ride at SSR that night as well.

In my opinion, Le Cellier is a great place for an intimate dinner. Some have complained that the lighting is too low, but DF and I really loved it. And, the food wasn't too shabby either...

Hope you have a great dinner.... and a romantic anniversary....

We're celebrating our 5th aniversery at Disney as well (well a couple of days late since we decide to go a week after our aniversery for free dining). Some of the restaraunts we chose for more romatic meals were:

CRT last possible reservation we could get so we could see the fireworks go off around us as we ate in the castle, though the food quality here is not top of the line there is just something romantic about eating in the castle.

Jiko, Flying Fish and Artist Point, all three of these restaraunts are signature dining so they are a bit "nicer" then some of the other restaraunts we are eating at. They all have good steak and the Jiko filet with mac and cheese is supose to be amazing. Artist Point is supose to have a really nice buffalo steak as well.

Le Cellier is a steakhouse, all the reviews I have seen say it is top of the line for food, with various choices for steaks. It is not the most romantic meal we've chosen, but it should be good steak (for me at least hubby can't eat meat so veggie meals or fish only for him).

Another place that might be nice is going for dinner at California Grill during Wishes, though it will probably be more crowded with kids. Seeing the fireworks from there is apparently really nice though and they are supose to have decent steak as well.

Of course if they *did* start serving alcohol at MK, I would be first in line, but it doesn't rent space in my head or anything

Happy anniversary! my DH and I celebrated our 8 year anniversary at WDW, and we plan to also celebrate our 10 year there. You will have a BLAST!!!!!

We LOVED Le Celiier, but I gotta say, unless you get a cozy booth in the back, I think the atmosphere is lacking. My suggestion would be California Grill at the CR. Find out what time WISHES is scheduled for, and make your ADR for about 1 .5 hour prior.

Congratulations! My DH and I just celebrated our 5 year anniversary at WDW in May and had a fabulous time. I know you asked about steak houses, but we chose California Grill and it did not disappoint. The food was incredilbe and the atmosphere cannot be beat. Try and get a seating about an hour prior to Wishes and request a window table. It was a perfect way to reflect on five great years together. Good luck with whatever you decide!

We celebrated an anniversary at the Yacht Club Steakhouse. The steaks were divine and the waiter was fabulous. When we checked in, I advised the concierge that we would be celebrating our anniversary. The waiter brought out a dessert assortment on a plate where "Happy 25th Anniversary" was written in chocolate.

We then went to the dock for an Illuminations specialty cruise.

What a great evening!

Citrico in GF

We celebrated our 5th Anniversary in Citrico in GF. The dining reservation staff left the anniverary message for the restaurant . When we first arrived at the restautant, the pretty lady who greet us with "Happy Anniversary". My DH was surprised that they know .

Then the deserts were served with Happy 5th Annuversary written in chocolate on the plate, for both our deserts. Also we were given the menu of the day printed Happy 5th Anniversary to take home. I love all the GF restaurants. I would love to try V&A but since our little 2 years old will be with us and DH woudn't use in room babysitter service in WDW so I guess I will have to wait until DD is a little bit older.

Happy Anniversay!
