SeaWorld is our second favorite place to go - only after Magic Kingdom. The only strange thing is everytime we go - no matter what time of the year, no matter what time of day, no matter what day of the week - it rains! It usually doesn't rain any other days of the week...

But I digress. Here are a few of my pictures.

My daughter and niece at the beginning

Playing in the mister

My daughter loved the manatee exhibit

The Clyde and Seamore Show is one of the best

The Shamu Rocks Buffet was really nice and the food was excellent

The Shamu Rocks show itself was awesome but see how the board is messed up? It was because of - you guessed it - a bad thunderstorm that had come through earlier.

Lucky I wish I could have done trainer for a day at Sea World Orlando before they stopped doing it. I want to hug a false killer whale and pet one. I did the marine mammal keeper experience in August 2006. It was ok, but no orcas or false killer whales.

Unfortunately less than a yr after they were caught all but 1 went blind. They actually now know that this is one reason y they are sooo endangered because they r going blind in the wild too and are actually starving. They also found out it mite be a genetic thing in the seals and this is y they cannot breed any of the animals because they may be carriers. The one that didnt go blind is name is Ola and she is now an animal they show on behind the scenes tours and she is taught behaviors as well. I have a video and a picture of her but dont know how to upload any..if some1 could help it would be greatly appreciated.

I always have fun when I'm at Sea World. I wish there was a Sea World Chicago.
