Dinner Rotation Assignment

Hello everyone! This is our first Disney Cruise. My DH and I are wondering when you find out your dinner rotation. I thought it was when you boarded, but something I read (can't quite remember what) made me think they knew ahead of time. I know someone will have the answer! Always do on the DIS...

You will receive your actual assignment on you KTTW card at check-in at the port, though you can REQUEST a certain rotation through DCL or your TA if you booked with one. It can be requested, but never guaranteed.

Thanks mmouse37!

It is just my DH and I traveling. Would anyone suggest one rotation over another?

I personally prefer the one where you are in Lumiere's for formal night and Parrot Cay for Pirate night....that is a personal feeling (I like being in Lumiere's in my fancy dress)...

I do not have the rotation off the top of my head but if you say which cruise you are on....I am sure someone will be glad to post which rotation to request!!

I'm doing a 7 day Western. I requested APL. Is this right for Parrots Cay and Lumieres on Pirate/Formal Night?

Honestly, we do not worry about what rotation we have. On three cruises we have been in each rotation once. We have never had formal night in Lumiere's but have always had a wonderful time. The waiters are all dressed up. The majority of guests are dressed up. It is all in your attitude. We had pirate night in Lumiere's last cruise & had a BLAST doing the limbo with everyone else.
