We will be staying at AKL the first week of December. Does anyone know if it's possible to put lights on your balcony...either strands or on a small tree? Do they have outlets out there? Is it even allowed? Any info. would be greatly appreciated.

String up a long strand of mickey heads (various colors) on string to drape around the doorway/room separation/mirror.

Put your pics on www.photobucket.com . With your pic, it will give you a link for you to copy into your reply. Just copy and paste the link (the IMG one) and your pic will show up.

Love your window decorations! We are going in Sept for my DD's 9th birthday, and my Mom is coming with us now...it will be her first time at Disney and I kind of want to make it special for her as well! Can you tell me where you got your birthday banner for the window? We are staying at Pop and I sure as heck can't wait to be back in the magic of the world again!
(can you PM me as sometimes I get lost on the boards and don't get back to check on posts...lol just soo much info to take in!)
thanks in advance!

Has anyone had problems with the resort asking you to remove decorations? I dont want to work super hard on mine this year just to take them down!! EEK! I have never had a problem with them asking us to take down before.. but saw a 2008 thread today where people were asked to remove decor?

Subscribing...we're going in Dec. to celebrate two birthdays just before Christmas. It never occurred to me to decorate the windows or room!

We'll have two rooms at Pop, so I thought I might do one for the birthdays and one for Christmas. Or should I make them both holiday & birthday? What do you think?

I have not heard of any cases. Was it maybe something inappropriate? I can't imagine having to take it down unless it was inappropriate, damaging, or somehow unsafe to the staff.

That's a tough choice! I would probably combine the two for both windows.

Thanks I think it was pertaining to using window/glass paint and not removing tape!

We are staying in a pirate room at CBR. I want to hang light in our window. Will I need an extension cord? Do folks bring one just in case? Or is there an outlet under the window?
