Just return from another great stay at CSR!!!

We arrived at 7:30am to check in, I was the only person in the lobby. Our room wasn't ready but I was told that we were in cabana 8a. I was in and out in 10 minutes. We checked our bags with bell services and off to IOA we went. When we returned, our room was ready and bell services delivered our bags within 15 mins. Then we had dinner with friends at the Pepper market.

The weather was beautiful for most of our trip. The last 2 days the humidity started to kick up a bit but 6 of the 8 days were fabulous.

The resort was sold out but you could hardly tell. We never waited to get into the Pepper Market, the pool didn't fill up until 11am the 2 days we spent there and the shuttles were running all over thanks to a convention (Skin Medica sp?), they paid for extra courtesy shuttles to be running all day.

As always, our stay ar CSR was simply magical. Let me know if you have any questions.

Refrig at CSR

Did I need to request this or are they in each room. I failed to do that when I booked?

******** - When you say the pool is filled up after 11 am (typical at all resorts) - is it wall to wall people ?
The pool looks nice and large. I would think it could accomodate most people with at least 6 feet of space around each person.
What is your opinion ?

All rooms have a fridge in a green case which can be seen on my website below.

No, not wall to wall, I meant that you could no longer get a table or lounge chairs. The pool never seemed overly crowded. I'll post a few pics that I took at different times during the morning at the pool.

This was 10:30am of Easter week.

This was later that morning

******** - Thank you for all the pool pictures !

We are staying at the CSR next Easter (2007) - our 2nd half of our AP tickets (we do about 20 days on it).

We have our rack rate right now for Easter 2007 - we will try for AAA rate this fall and AP rates next year (we check in the Wed before Easter - 4/4/07, hope to still catch an AP rate)

Wow! Considering you were there Easter week, that pool wasn't full at all! Loved the pictures!

Welcome back safe and sound, Buzz!
So great of you to keep us all posted during your vaction, Mario...really, very thoughtful. Glad you had another memorable trip and the weather cooperated. I particularly like the picture of the Casitas building. I am torn between the ambiance of Casitias and the location/convenience of Cabanas...such struggles to have!

Rest up for all the forth coming questions...here's one from my DS...Is the Yeti fully working, motion, or just propped there...not rushing at the coaster?
( not that this won't change by our trip in August..., but since he's here asking....)

Thanks!

Pam

Thank you for finding the time, whilst you were at CSR, to let us know all the finer details! It was like actually being there - photos are brilliant : but none beat the ones of the croc!! oh and the delicious burger.

Glad you had a good time

ps - thanks to your picture of the extra little bed, my daughter has decided she will sleep on one - that means we will have a bed each!! My idea of heaven.

Welcome Back! What is IOA? I feel like I know pretty much everything when it comes to abr. but I am sitting here trying to figure out what IOA is and it is driving me nuts.

Thanks,

Loralie

Can't wait to plan more trips to Disney! When you are here the rest of the world just goes away along with all the problems.

I'm guessing IOA is Islands of Adventure

The Yeti does have movement, he swings his arm as to be reaching for you. As you pass, he is above you. He is holding one to something with his other arm. I think his head moves too but it all happens so quickly. The train starts to rise as if you are getting closer to him and there is a flashing, blinking light so it goes from total darkness to seeing him as you get closer to him. The ride is great. We rode it 6 times during our week stay.
