Outer Banks Vacationers-- Can You Rent Daily Beach Set Up?

Call me spoiled, but I like to come out on the beach in the morning and have the chairs and umbrella waiting for me. It's vacation, you know? When we go to Destin, the beach set-ups come with the rental property, but in Nags Head this isn't the case. Has anyone rented daily beach set-ups from anyone in the Outer Banks, the ones where they put them up in the a.m. and take them away in the p.m?

We go to outer banks every year and I have never seen this kind of beach rental, but sounds wonderful. I make DH carry chairs and umbrellas out while we are sunscreening and making lunches to take in cooler.

We will be in Nags Head July 22-29.

OBX vet here and I have never heard of that service. I'm not saying it does not exist but I haven't seen it. Maybe ask your rental agency if they know of such a service. Most rental homes come equipt with beach gear.

My sister booked the place, so I'll have to find out which agency it is. Thanks for the replies. We are going the 2nd week in August.

Which area of the OBX are you staying? I have seen rentals at the lifeguard stations in the main area of Kill Devil Hills/Kitty Hawk/Nags Head. They had umbrellas and folding beach chairs. They had to be returned each day before the lifeguard left.

We'll be in Nags Head. I didn't remember seeing them last time, but that's exactly what I'm looking for. I wonder if they set them up for you, and if we'll be near a lifeguard tower.

Try calling some of these places, hopefully one of them will have the information you are looking for. http://www.outerbanks.org/visitor_se...l_services.asp
