You should be able to book Palo once on board. When you check in for the cruise they will give you a navigator (ship newsletter). There will be a specified place/time that you go to make Palo reservations. Just show up there and make your reservation.

Just a hint..the first night of a cruise is always pretty much empty in Palo, so you can always go that night. Also, they do hold reservations back for people to make when boarding the ship, so don't worry there.

If some weird chance you don't get a ressie at Palo, get on the waiting list--particularly for the first few nights. If anyone gets seasick, it will probably be at the start of the cruise and you may get a lot of cancellations. On our last cruise in April 04, the seas were 22 ft and Palo was empty. They even called all the waitlist and they couldn't fill it.

Definately get on the wait list. On our 1st cruise we called at 4:30 one night and they called back by 5 saying no problem. Some cruisers with small children may also have to cancel if the child is not doing as well in the clubs as the parents thought they would. Don't despair hopefull you will get in.

Hi,

I just wondered how you were getting to the port? If you can try and get there early so you have the best chance of getting a reservation when you board. We're from the UK and in the past have used the DCL tranfers (7 trips and still not got the nerve to drive ), however they dont arrive till 1pm or later. This year we have booked a town car from WDW and plan on getting to the port for 10:15.

Palo in my opinon is def worth it. I cant wait till July !
I hope you love the cruise as much as I do

I would try when you get onboard and even then don't give up hope. People do cancel all the time. Good luck.

We had the same thing happen to us on the Feb. 11 Magic. I couldn't book it before we left, so when we got onboard we went to the bar where they were they were setting up ressies and had no trouble getting our choice of night. It was around 2:00, as we ate lunch before going. I don't think that you will have any problems at all. You will love the food and the servers are great!

All of the brunch reservations showed full whenever I checked online, but we had no problems getting a reservation when we boarded. Just went to the designated area right when it opened (1:00 at one of the bars I believe).

And to address your Cozumel question, the answer is

DCL still has Cozumel on the itinerary for April trips, but isn't 'changing' the info until just a couple of weeks before each cruise. The group going out this Saturday have only known for a couple of weeks that they were doing Costa Maya instead. Disney didn't 'notify' them....they just revised the information on their web-site.

Most of the folks around the DIS (through checking out other cruise web-sites) believe it will still be a couple of months till DCL is back at Cozumel.....but it's still anyones guess.

First, not all ressies are available on line. Some are "held back" until after boarding. Some are held by the concierge crew until after the concierge meeting for the families in suites.

So...after you board, go to the area designated for Palo Ressies. There is a reasonable chance that you will be able to make your ressie at that time. If you can't get it, ask to be placed on the waiting list. Ressies may become available after the concierge meeting, and may become available as people cancel. There is a very good chance that you will get your ressie.

If you don't hear from them, call Palo daily right after they open. I once got a ressie because I called before they got around to checking the wait list!

I am so glad to hear this! This is our first cruise and we booked the romance package which includes the Palo PS and covers the $10 per person BUT since we only booked last week for the April 22 cruise it shows online no availability.

We do not care what night we go - so you give me hope! We are going on this cruise to celebrate my husband coming home from 10 months overseas and we are looking forward to some romantic time and Palo was one of the things we wanted to do.

I can understand what you mean! My hubby has been working on a movie since September and I've been home with a newborn and an active 3 year old! I tried getting ressies but they were booked....I broke down and cried because after all, we booked Disney because of the nursery and to be able to spend some time together! Palo is like something that we've never experienced before!

Can you reserve for more than one time? Or one dinner, one brunch, one tea? I guess what I'm asking is how many times can people actually reserve online for ressies?
