Soft white bread loaf recipe?
Hi,
I love to bake and have baked cookies, challah bread, cakes, cheesecakes, pies, etc. However, I can't seem to find a Soft white bread loaf recipe I can make... Everytime I make it, the bread turns out heavy instead of soft. Does anyone have a foolproof soft white bread loaf recipe you won't mind sharing? I just got a kitchenaid mixer during christmas and would love to make one loaf that's good... ![]() Thanks a bunches! |

Mine always turned out that way too, but I kind of liked it that way.
(I use a bread machine now, but I had a friend who always liked hers soft. She said that the key was to rub the whole loaf with Crisco or butter after it came out of the oven. That was way too much fat for my tastes, but you might want to try that. Her bread was always really soft!
