Today, our director let us out of rehearsal really early because we had finished what we needed to get through and we all wanted to get a head start on the 4 day weekend!

Great thread idea!

For me today, it was having my boss compliment me on a project I just finished. It's not necessary for me to get complimented all the time at work (cause at a certain point, I think I should be going a good job or there would be bigger problems

) but it's nice to hear a "atta girl" once in a while.

My daughter kissed my stomach (I'm pregnant) and said "I love you, Clayton." (the baby's name) So sweet I wanted to cry.

Standardized testing ended today, so class times were much shorter and I barely have any homework tonight.

my doc told me that tumor is still cancer free !

This is such an inspiring thread - from the big, grand things (pregnancy, cancer-free) to the little amazing things (love from our little ones).

Here's mine for Thursday:
Seeing the joy on DD's face that we got a package in the mail. DH made her wait until I got home to open it. As soon as I walked in the door after work tonight, she's screaming "Get the scissors, mama! Open it! What's gonna be?" It was mostly clothes from grandma, but the box was big enough to get inside, color on, DD tried to put on several pieces of clothing herself - I love seeing things through her eyes. That a cardboard box of clothes could become so many different things and entertain her for an hour.

Today, I got to work by 7 a.m. and got a great parking space right in front of the building (as opposed to at the bottom of the very long hill).

I was called to my director's office and was given a $1000 raise (unexpected since annual reviews just took place last quarter).

Thanks to a diser on the family board, I found a place to get my H1N1 shot without waiting and at a place that takes my insurance, so it was FREE to me! I suddenly freaked out just yesterday that I'm due in 7 short weeks and I haven't been able to find anyplace to get a shot. I should have known the disers would come to the rescue, as they always do!

Today my wife and I were able to get 3 addition days off work, so we can stay in Florida for 4 more days!!!!!! We can help finish out Food & Wine!!!! Yeah!!!!
