Wilderness Lodge Laundry ????

I have some questions about the laundry room at the Wilderness Lodge. What is the best time to use it? Where is it at? Anybody remember how much it costs?

I have used the one at the AKL, but not the WL and my Husband is going to have a complete fit if I bring as many clothes as I want to. I was really hoping to not have to do laundry this vacation.

Thanks in advance.

Do what I do....pack light, but do a lot of shopping. I always buy a couple pairs of walking shorts and a pair of Mickey khackis and a shirt or two. Works every time

I always do tons of shopping, too! But Hubby is going to have to do his laundry since he refuses to pack enough stuff...or shop!

I seem to remember that the laundry was free, but that was a few years ago.

It's $2.00 wash, $2.00 dry. Mostly empty in the morning as the parks open, quite crowded in the evenings.

Thanks everyone! Not looking forward to doing laundry, but even doing laundry in Disney isn't quite as bad as doing laundry at home!!

I just stayed at the Contemporary Resort recently, and their machines had swipe readers on them so that the $2 charge could be applied to your room. This way you don't have to obtain a load of quarters. I can't speak for the Wilderness Lodge, though.

I was there a year ago and then, the machines were still coin operated (may have changed since). I went at night after the kids were asleep and there were people there, but I didn't have to wait for a machine.

Have fun!
