City Mini Double or City Mini GT Double

Kidlets are almost 3 (35 months) and 4 1/2. They are both on the tall side - DS is about 42" (maybe a bit shy), DS is about 39" (he needs platform shoes for the trip to make the height cutoffs LOL)

Looking at renting the regular City Mini Double, or the GT version.

I would prefer the GT for the better tires (= smoother push), adjustable handle bar, and I believe it has a parent console. So if you're renting from somewhere with both and the price difference is minimal I'd go with the GT, especially for bigger kids where the push/weight limits matter.

That said, I'm doing the AppleStrollers deal and they only have BJCM's, not GT's. I'm settling for that because I think it will be fine for the Disney environment which is mainly paved and flat. Its at least half the cost in my case. If I were buying though I'd go with the GT.

The gt also has a taller seatback. My daughter is about 34 inches (22 months) and her head hits the canopy on the city mini. (Short legs, all torso)

Just something to think about though of course I've seen tons of much taller kids perfectly happy in the regular mini so I'm sure whatever you pick will be great

The GT has taller seat backs and a deeper seat that makes it more comfortable for taller gremlins. My kids are very similar in age, 2 (34 months) and 4 (50 months) and we went with the GT because of those reasons.
Our First trip was 4/18 - 4/27 2013. Can't wait to go back! Hopefully in 2016.
