For the fridge I use a regular kitchen cleaner to kill germs and then I finish it off with winded with the grain to get rid of the streaks....

For the tub: mix white vinegar and blue dawn dish soap in a spray bottle. Spray on and let soak a few mi uses. Wipe/ rinse clean

I used to sell appliances so I spent a lot of time cleaning stainless steel. I used furniture polish with lemon. I found that is what works the best. Don't waste your money on SS cleaner when a can of Pledge works better. And for those really bad spots, use WD-40.

no stainless, in my house, sorry, OP, but as to the fiberglass tub/surround....

we have really hard water where we live (NE alabama), so our tubs get thick mineral deposits (i'll admit, we don't clean them as often as we should). i read this trick on the DIS, i believe: get a can of easy off oven cleaner, the one in the blue can, and spray the inside of the tub/surround, making sure the area is WELL ventilated. let it sit for a little bit, then wipe away. i was skeptical at first, but it really does work!

Ive tried probably everything on the market for stainless steel. Pledge or Endust is the best for the smudges!

For the bathtub use the Mr.Clean magic erasers and scrubbing bubbles, they work wonders wonders on cleaning the tub. Even if you have the little traction grit that is molded into the tub it cleans it right up.

For the shower once you get it CLEAN all soap scum an hard water off wax the sides of shower an tub NOT floor of tub. Once thats done just a quick spray with tilex or simular cleaner with wax in it will clean the shower.

When my kids was young an lived with me I waxed shower every 6 months now that it's just DH an I I wax once a year.
