Our Honey Moon in the Happiest Place on earth! Now Trip Report!

Day 6 Cont








Jared was amused to find the Chevy bow tie in Mickeys house














Jared was getting pretty hungry so after a spin on Rodger Rabbit we stopped for a bite Jared ordered a pizza which he said was awful and I had a Mickey Ice scream bar which was delicious



I thought this was cute

From there we took the long walk back over to Adventure land for a cruise through the jungle.










Next we decided to head over to Pirates Lair
]













After that we went back to our hotel and had a nap :-)

we finshed up our rest and decided to head in to DCA we started with Radiator springs racers




After our race we decided it was time for something to eat To taste pilots we went yum yum :-)

I cant remeber if we ordered anything more specific then two cheese burgers


after our yummy burgers we headed over to a bugs land

we strted with Fliks Flyers




we moved on to Heimlichs Chew chew train




Then headed on over to the little mermaid it was a bounce around sort of day


and across the bay for a ride on toy story




I win this round :-)
We then decided to play some board walk games or rather Jared made an attempt at winning me some prizes lol

at the next game Jared actually won, but it was against a little boy and we werent about to take the prize so we gave it to him lol

After that we headed back to our hotel for a good sleep and that ends day 6

I'm digging this trip report quite a bit. My fiancee and I just went to Disneyland for the first time last year, and she's trying to convince me to spend part of our honeymoon at DL as well. Which we probably will, because let's face it, we're overgrown 12 year olds most of the time.

Speaking of, where did your husband get that Donald Duck shirt from way back in your introduction? I laughed probably a little longer than I should have at that. Oh, and where exactly is that Indiana dog house? My fiancee would get a big kick out of that as well. She can pretty much quote all three of those movies by heart.

nrichards: Yes! I am a scrap booker! Its one of my favorite things to do I did both my own wedding album and this honey moon almbu and not to brag but I am pretty proud of it

tksbaskets: The Im on a boat one? I bought him that quite some time ago at Target believe it or not. We bought it for another trip our orginal plan was to take pictures of him on all of Disneylands boats, but it turned out to be harder then we expected and we only accomplished 3 lol. As for the Indiana Dog house, Theres a scene in the last crusade where his father (Sean Connery) keeps calling him Henry, This makes Indiana made and he says "would you stop calling me that! its Indiana now!" His Father answers him saying "Indiana!? We called the DOG Indiana!" its one of my favorite scenes and its on my bucket list to own a dog named Indy

Day 7
The next morning we decided to have breakfast in the room again I had some fruit and a blue berry muffin


Jared ordered the Breakfast burrito


I definitly had entre envy and ate some of Jareds burrito which I found to be DELCIOUS however, I like wet burritos, and green sauce Jared isnt a fan of either so he didnt really like it. My muffin and Fruit were also good I enjoyed the amount and varitey of fruit offered.
We headed in to DCA and went directly to the RSR fast pass line I waited in it and got some passes while Jared visited the starbucks. It was funny when I got to the front I saw two open stations and was tempted to head over to them, but I wasnt sure if I could since all the other stations were manned by a cast member, finally one of the CM's said "if you already know how to use a fast pass machine these units are open" after that it was mere seconds before I had my passes and was back at the starbucks to meet Jared.




A story to go with this next picture. This the coffee Jared handed me when I arrived back, We dont know why, but every time Jared gives his name to a resturant such as starbucks they always always hear Jerry. SO when he handed me this I was like even at Disneyland and he was like yep even at Disneyland


Jared also ordered some banana bread I swear he has an empty leg.

after drinking our coffee for a few minutes we headed over to Little mermaid, they wouldnt let Jared take his open drink on the ride so I went into the store while he finished it off here he is being grumpy about the situation lol


From there we headed over the bridge for another go on Toy story mania We stopped on our way to see Donald this was one of the best Charactor interactions Ive had in a long time, I find that sometimes as an adult the characters dont get as involved with me but good old Don was very excited by our buttons and created this pose him self. Thanks Donald!



I win again. For a gamer you would think Jared would be better at this lol

After that we headed back over to wait for Goof's Concert, Jared stopped to admire the storm clouds so we took a few pictures

We got great seats for the concert I thought for a while wed be the only Audience I sat Right next to the little gate Goofy was going to go through


While we were waiting I heard the Familiar Phineas and Ferb music so we ran up the steps to watch that show first!


I go to High five Ferb during the show I think he may have been going for a kid, but I got confused and fived him, but it was ok cause I love him and was happy to get to do it >.<
we headed back down to the viewing area to discover that our seats were still available and we were still the only ones I think by the time the show started there were like ten people and I dont know why it was an adorable show

After the show it was almost time for our RSR fast pass so we headed over to Cars land, I noticed the line for mator was pretty short and we had some time to kill so we got this picture its one of my favorites from the trip!

Then we went for a dance at Louigy's (Jared loves this ride lol despite his appearance in these picture )






when we'd finshed dancing we were able to head over to RSR

Jared was hungry again lol

Something hilariously awful happened during our ride this time, as we were loading into our vehicle it began to rain, not sprinkle but pour! so as we headed up the mountian to look at the waterfall we were getting soaked! then we when we shot out of the ride building to race the rain pelted us directly in the eyes it was pretty bad at the time, but now the story makes me giggle lol at anyrate I bought a hat to cover my rain hair and protect me from further rain and cold directly after our ride, we then headed over to ToT.

When we got into the ride vehicle they loaded what I assume to be a school group we kept running in to groups of kids with one adult through out the next couple days they were all extremely rowdy and annoying I tried to look as annoyed as possible in the photo so if they bought it or looked at it they might say hmmm were we being stupid...I doubt that would happen but hey I tried lol

from there we stopped for lunch (snack for me I try not to indulge at lunch)
I had a corn on the cobb and Jared had a Chilli Cheese dog from Award Wieners




I will leave you at lunch for now Im headed to a 1st birthday next up will be monsters inc and the Aladdin show

Enabler alert. Paper Wizard has really nice Disney Themed page toppers with a bunch of new Cars Land items. Plus they are really nice people. I dropped a bundle at their booth at the local scrapbook convention this month.
