I'm thinking about Chef de France for our upcoming fall trip, but have a question about how the menu works on the dining plan. Must I order from the prix fixe menu, or can I order another entree listed below? I just want to make sure I know before I go.

You can order whatever you want off the menu.
You only need order the prix fixe if you want it. If you're on the regular dining plan, that's the only way to get an appetizer covered. If you do order the prix fixe, no substitutions are allowed.

order what you like
We have used the dining plan a few tmes now at Chefs de france. You can order what you like however, we usually do the prix fix menu. I'm more of an appetizer person than dessert so it is nice to be able to get an app first when on the dp and you're over run with dessert.

The prix fix at dinner is a GREAT value on the DDP. However, the prix fix at lunch has you losing about $10 of value on the DDP.
