Walking?

Hello all-
I know you can walk from DHS to Epcot, but can you walk all the way around the seven seas lagoon? Is there a path that goes the entire way? It would be fun to walk through all 3 resorts and then MK.

Thanks-
Brendan

You can walk from TTC to the Poly than to the GF but that's it. Contemporary and MK are not connected to the two other resorts.

Not possible as there is no direct path around the SSL. As the PP mentioned you can walk from MK to CR or TTC to Poly to GF. A while back there was talk in the air about Disney creating a true walkway around the lagoon but that plan died at the canal near GF - it's the waterway used to get the Electric Water Pageant barges in and out of the lagoon.

No, sorry, you can't.

You can walk from MK to BLT/Contemporary.
You can walk from TTC to the Polynesian to the Grand Floridian.

You cannot walk from BLT/Contemporary to the Polynesian. (Tunnel for cars only)
You cannot walk from the Grand Floridian to MK. (no bridge)

It would be very expensive to construct these missing links, with small value. Since there's the resort monorail and Seven Seas Lagoon boat service, your trek will be limited to those choices. Or a car can go from BLT as far as the Grand Floridian.

Thanks for all the answers! I didn't think it was possible but I was hoping I was wrong. Sure would be a pretty walk at night though!!

Thanks again-
Brendan

That canal isn't the only preventer. The walk from the TTC to the CR would require passing under the canal that connects 7C To Bay Lake. A safe walk way was never installed alongside that busy road tunnel. Disney does not want folks to walk everywhere even if the distance is short as from AK to AKL or the TTC to WL especially where vehicle traffic is high. It is not a small city after all.

A walkway wasn't built in the lagoon underpass because it was originally built for parking trams to bring people to the main gates of MK from the TTC. So at the time, there would have been no need for pedestrian access through the tunnel. Actually, MiceChat wrote about the early trams and the tunnel last month. See here.
