VIP Tour: Anyone interested in sharing? May 4-7

Hey Ladies and Gents:

My hasband and I are visiting Disney World for the first time on May 4-7. We were hoping to do the VIP tour on one of those days but its $275-315/hour! Yikes!

However, the price remains the same for a group up to 10 people. So it ends up working out to $275-315/person if we get a group of 8 for 8 hours.

A friend of mine did this last may--and she said it was well worth the cost and she'd do it again in a second.

Would you share what your friend experienced that was worth the cost of a VIP tour, please? Did she do fastpass for everything she did? Did she get front row viewing for parades or fireworks? What park did she do? What else was worth it?

By the way you should mention the park or parks you plan on doing the VIP tour.

I think your idea for sharing is a good one. It may be hard to get others to join in. There's the hassle of getting money upfront for it. If you don't do it that way then you risk NO SHOWS and then you are out more money for it. I've coordinated Disney firework cruises with strangers in the past and I was fortunate that everyone was willing to pay in advance. I did learn with that experience that the joiner is apprehensive, too. They feel if they pay upfront you may not show up and then you have their money and you are a NO SHOW. After about four successful cruises I decide it wasn't worth my time and effort to coordinate the financial aspect. I will say we were lucky and we never had a no show, but when the discussion boards were hot with sharing firework cruise stories we did hear some stories about it.

What a wonderful idea!
I wish you were going when my mother and I plan to go. We are leaving my family at home and doing a girls trip. I would have definately taken you up on your offer.
