The ugly dachsund- with Dean Jones and Suzanne Pleshette (at least I think those were their names), from back in the sixties.

I love the movies from my childhood. Years ago, late at night, they would have "vault disney" on the disney channel. They would show an old disney movie. I wish they would bring this back for us "oldtimers"

From my child hood:

The Lady and The Tramp! I made my mom sit through that movie at least 8 times at the theater and the VHS copy I had literally broke in my TV/VCR while I was at college (yes,I brought it with me) I seriously cried about it. Thank God I had a single dorm room OT: DH who was DBF at the time recently replaced my copy when it was re-released on BLu-Ray...I love that man so

My kiddos:
DS(9): Toy Story (1-3)
DD(7): Beauty and The Beast and The Princess and The Frog
DD(2): Tinkerbell and "Princess Frog"

My girls will watch them in that order over and over and over....

I love reading other people's Disney stories.

Like a lot of you, some of my favorite Disney movies have to do with my kids. Jungle Book because my DS watched it over and over as a little boy and my youngest DD was Kaa the snake in a stage production of it. Dumbo because it was another of my son's favorites, Cinderella because my oldest daughter watched that movie over and over for two years, all while wearing her Cinderella costume.

For me, I loved Disney live action movies: Mary Poppins, Pete's Dragon, and like a PP mentioned, I too tried often to be magical like Tia. I absolutely love all the animation done in the great years of Little Mermaid, Beauty & the Beast (Belle is my favorite princess!), Lion King, Aladdin, etc. Right now though, in my current phase of life, my two favorite Disney movies are Up! and Eight Below. Up! is just so great...those first 8 minutes I cry like a baby. Best love story ever. Eight Below is a favorite because I am a mom to huskies. I love my dogs and I love that movie. I watch it every time I see it on TV, and when feeling blue I snuggle up with my boys and pop in the DVD. Love Eight Below, even though I know it got quite a few Rotten Tomatoes, lol.

It is hard to choose a favorite Disney movie, there are just so many and each of them speak to us for different reasons. Ahh, I love Disney, it knows how to pull my heart strings.
