I am so excited!! My 2 little princesses, who gave up the princesses far too early for my sensibilities, are 12 and 10, and the last time we went to see princesses they were 2 & 3. But tonight, they asked if we could "do that again?"
![]() I'm not asking any questions, just gonna make that ADR as soon as I can before they change their minds!! ![]() Just had to share! Need to make another countdown to our trip in August! First I have to remember how! :0) Thanks for jumping up & down with me! Last edited by wannabemini; 01-31-2013 at 11:12 PM. |

My 12 year old daughter asked for the same thing. We had a dinner scheduled at CRT but I switched it to Akershus since we will see more Princesses. I'm so excited about going, she will always be my princess.
![]() I also scheduled a dinner at TRex for my son, he is going to love that place!

I'm so glad you posted, you're giving me hope! My daughter is 7 and is quickly growing out of the princesses. She still likes them for now and we're doing 1900 Park Fare, however she informed me that her friends at school make fun of her for liking princesses. She's in first grade, since when is that too old for princesses?! I hope y'all both have a great time

Isn't that great? I'd like to keep them little forever, but reality is working against me!
![]() When is your trip? Mines still not for 6 months, but I'm planning like its next week anyway! It's been too long since we were there!! Have fun with your sweet girl!

Don't worry-- they'll grow back into it, promise. I'm in my 20s and am Princess obsessed as are the majority of my friends!
![]() Have a great trip and go book that ADR, mom!

I agree that they get back into princess mode
My DD11 is into fairies, princesses, characters, etc. now as much as she was when she was 3
. She wants to do BBB and a princess character meal (and dress up as one) on our next trip. I think it becomes "cool" again to like princesses and characters once they get into the tween and teen years, and what isn't "cool" IS "cool" (if that makes any sense ). When she was in 2nd and 3rd grade, her and her peers turned their noses up at anything related to the princesses because at that age they want to distinguish themselves as "big kids"; but once they actually become "big kids" they realize how much fun and carefree childhood really is and that it is "cool" to hold onto and embrace that inner child
