Well you can ask, sure. Someone might even help you out if your luck is in.

You could also ask in the restaurant where you have just paid for a cheeseburger if they could maybe bring you the Filet Mignon instead...

Nice! No need to be rude about it. I have heard of many people getting free room upgrades. I have been to WDW almost every year since 1998. I am sure that I have more than paid Disney for anything they would upgrade me for free at this point.

Andre wasn't being rude. He was simply pointing out the logical fallacy associated with your statement; disagreement does not equal rudeness.

And no, you haven't more than paid for an upgrade. You have paid for exactly what you ordered from them.

Not being rude at all, just my British sense of humour - you'll get used to it.

But seriously, I'm not quite sure what the real difference is when you ask those same two questions 'cold'. I suspect you are much more likely to succeed if you ask in your fax for something more nebulous like "a pleasant view if possible, ideally close for the bridge to the main buildings - maybe able to see something of the river area?". Otherwise it comes over just like my (OK, maybe a tad sarcastic ) previous question, which is basically asking for something for nothing.

Or to use a cliché, you catch more flies with honey than with vinegar...

And on that note, I see that we've reached the magical 250 pages again, so it's time to move home again... see you all over at our new pad, www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=3173085.

Last one over there is a cissy!

Question How busy does POR feel?

For those there last week or this week, how full does the resort feel? Just curious since some folks may have switched to POR since they are testing out the Magic Bands.

We've only really encountered crowds at the food court. Once, we waited for a 2nd bus for MK, but it was early in the am before rope drop. So, overall it doesn't feel crowded at all!

Curious about this too. Resort appears to be close to capacity for our week 10/5-10/12

It's busy but nothing crazy. Quiet pools are still quiet most of the day. Main pool isn't packed. It's all good.
