I was wondering how load the fireworks are from where people view them at. My kids love to watch them but REALLY don't like the noise. Is there anywhere to view them at that he really can't hear the load booms? Or should we just skip the show?

The fireworks go of directly behind the castle, so the farther you are down main street the better. That said, there is music that plays with them, so maybe that would make them less scary? We were right by the castle and I don't remember feeling like they were terribly loud. Maybe try from down main street and if they get scared you can just leave.

Watch the MK fireworks from the beach at the Poly resort. All the view, none of the noise!

Thanks, what would be the best time to get there so we will be able to get a spot on the beach? Oh and we can just take the monorail there right?

If you are in MK for the day, watch the Electric Light Parade then exit out of the main entrance and then either take the boat right from MK to the Poly (the boat drops you off withing steps of the best viewing area) -or- take the Resort Monorail, then walk though the resort to the beach.
Check your times guide, but most nights Wishes are at 9pm Option two would be to make a late dinner reservation at the Poly, say Kona or 'Ohana, and then stick around the resort until fireworks time. |

I bring earplugs for my youngest. She uses them for the fireworks and for fantasmic. She enjoys both but only with the earplugs as she really dislikes loud noises.
