How was debarkation? It's usually a 10-15 minute process at PC, just wondering about Galveston. Our van driver suggested a 9:30 am pickup.

Can't wait to board that beautiful ship!

We really didn't see the main debarkation so maybe someone else can answer that question. There are assigned dining times according to your regular dining time. We had the last breakfast, in Lumiere's at 8:45. (We had 2nd dinner seating). Topsiders was also open from 6:30 to 8:30 if you did not want sit down dining for breakfast. We were some of the last ones off the ship at around 9:30

Just a little bit jealous... I soooo want to take a Disney cruise out of Galveston. The dates just don't work for us with me being a teacher. I think the parents would riot if I took 5 days off.

I have a few questions: When is Formal Night, The Captain's Dinner and Pirate Night? Are there any special theme night dinners; when we sailed to Alaska we had a taste of Alaska menu.
What was your dining rotation?
Thanks for all of your great information!

Wow! That sounds amazing. Why were there so many Texans? Did it leave from Galveston?

Go for it! My daughter's teacher took a week off last spring to go to a destination wedding in Mexico--I didn't riot...but I was jealous!

Oh well, that is what subs are for. I see you have kiddos, and kids sail free from Jan. 4 to Mar. 1. Go for it.

We have been waiting for the kids sail free as well. Not sure if the dates will work but it is always a good deal.

Formal night was Sunday, the first sea day. The Captain's dinner was Thursday, Cozumel day and Pirate night was Tuesday, Grand Cayman. There was a caribbean dinner night, which was our first night in Parrot Cay. Formal night was Prince and Princess night. I can't think of any others, but we thought the food was all really good! Beef Wellington the last night, YUM. I'll look back thru the navigators again and double check.

What was Prince and Princess night? We have Palo reservations for formal night, but I don't want to miss anything special in the MDR (it's not our AP show night). Many thanks!

It really wasn't anything special, just what they called formal night.

I say go for it. I am a teacher and just had to ask and I was given the week off. Just make sure it isn't during any state testing or end of grading period time. I am going on my first cruise ever and could not afford it during the summer.
