Want to use credit card points to buy tickets, can you get 2nd day?

I am wondering if the tickets you "buy" using your credit card reward points are regular one day tickets, which would allow you to buy a second day for 10$ pp at SW (or qualify for the BOGO at Busch Gardens).
I am afraid to get the tickets using my points only to discover they don't qualify for the 2nd day promotion.



Has anyone tried to do this?

I am pretty sure it doesn't matter how you buy your tickets. Even like the kids free deal you can get a second day for $10 pp.

Looks like BG is offering some pretty nice incentives. They have buy one day get 2nd day free or buy one day and get free all day dining. You can't use both offers though.

I was wondering because it states in the fine print under ticket prices on the SW and BG website "This offer is not to be combined with any other special offers or discounts. ". I was hoping that the park ticket the credit card company sends doesn't look like some kind of discounted ticket. I can use my points to buy either SW or BG tickets.

hmm, maybe it would be better to take advantage of tickets from SeaWorld, since you think they will take any ticket to get the next day for 10$ pp. I was originally going to get BG tickets and take advantage of the BOGO ticket deal. Thanks for helping me think this through!

The fine print about combining offers is like the BG offers. You can either do the 2nd day free or the all day dining free. also if there were some kind of coupon (sometimes mc Ds has them for like $10 off) you wouldnt be able to use that with the special. but to buy the tickets from your credit comp. and then go to GS and get the 2nd day for $10 I am sure you will be able to do. Now the BG deal unless it is listed on the CC website were you purchase them I dont think you would get that offer. You would have to buy those from BG directly. I dont even think comp. like AAA have the BG offer on their site either.

Glad I could help hope you have a fun trip. Both places are really fun. And with the new BG offer I am thinking of doing a one day trip there. We have APs for SW. BG is just a bit farther we dont get over there enough to get both.
