How much is too much?
So my wife, our two friends and myself are going in late march. After the hotel, tickets and car rental, my wife and I will have roughly $2850 for a 6 night trip.
We are going to Magic Kingdom Twice, Epcot, Both water parks with a full day off in between. Do you think we are expecting to bring too much? Last time we went (2010) we only spent roughly 1000 between us not including food, but we always over save for big trips like this |

When I read through that the first time, I thought the $2850 was the price of the trip. On second reading, I realized you were asking about money for food and extras. I think that is going to be PLENTY, like in too much. It would be for me and my family, but we might not eat and spend the same as you.

so what are you wanting the 2850 to cover?
Everyone is different, with different budgets. And it is always better to have more money on hand than not enough.

I always like to have too much budgeted for a trip. At least if you don't spend it all you come home with money in your pocket. It's nice to have a little something in case theres a storm and a flight is cancelled or other unexpected expense.
