Parking at Port Canaveral?

I have a few questions regarding driving ourselves (from Michigan!) and parking at Port Canaveral.

How much does it cost to park there per day? Or is it free if you are taking a Disney cruise?

Once you park, what is involved in getting from your car to the ship?

Are there any hotels right there at the Port that are nice to stay at the night before the ship leaves?

Parking a car or van at the port is $15 per night of the cruise. It is a very short walk from the parking to the terminal. You drop your luggage with the porters curbside at the terminal and then park, so you don't carry luggage except your carry ons.

There are many hotels near the port that offer free parking with an overnight stay the night before OR after your cruise. Some also include free breakfast. Some offer a free shuttle to the port, others charge a small fee. For those with a fee, the driver can always take the family and then return to the hotel, so only ONE person pays!

Hotels with parking include the Radisson, Residence Inn, Country Inn and Suites, Quality Inn and Suites, etc.

Since you are driving from Michigan, you'll need to arrive the day before and stay somewhere the night before sailing. For us, the regular price on the hotel was $107 and included all taxes, breakfast, and parking. Parking alone would have been $105. Many people have reported getting the Country Inn and Suites on Priceline and being able to park too....they are paying around $60 that way!

We are going on the 4 night Wonder. Will we pay for parking Thursday since you leave the port early morning? Just trying to figure out if it will be $60 or $75 total.

You pay for Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. So that's $60 - not sure how you would get $75, it's only 4 days.

I think she is saying she is leaving Sunday on the boat, and would she have to pay for Thursday when that is the day they get off the boat and head back into reality.

I have the same ?. I am staying at the Quality Inn, but I have an employee discount card so I'm not sure that I'll be eligible for any parking discounts at the hotel.

ETA--> Example, we board the boat on Sunday, cruise Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, and then leave Thursday AM. So, will we pay for that last day?

3 day cruise is $45
4 day cruise is $60
7 day cruise is $105
5 nights cruises will be $60

You pay for each night you are on the ship, not each calendar day that your car is parked there.

Thanks - sorry I was doing things backwards (or something)! I can confirm though that we paid $60 for our Sunday through Thursday 4 night.
